Master of Macabre Competition
Those deliciously dark denizens over at Horror Addicts.net started a new competition for 2011 called ‘Master of Macabre’ and I was compelled to enter. The competition was to write a short story, that was to be podcasted, based on a number of prompts.
My prompts were: Necrophobia (fear of death), A gallery opening, and a hunting knife. My task was to incorporate these prompts into a single, cohesive horror story. We were to keep the story to around 3k words (or 30mins podcast length). Listen to this short introduction to this fantastic competition.
So, my story was posted, and the lovely ladies have done a fabulous job in recording the story. You can hear it here: A Gallery of Fate
You can vote for your favourite story (that’s mine, right?) by sending your choice to horroraddicts@gmail.com By voting you’re automatically eligible for a Horror Addicts prize pack!
